Meet Marion

I’m Marion, the founder and designer behind Fabric & Soul. With over five decades of sewing and design experience, I create heirloom-quality quilted jackets and garments that blend artistry, refinement, and individuality. Each piece is crafted with natural fibers, meticulous technique, and a deep commitment to sustainable, small-batch production.

My design journey includes a diverse professional background — from leadership roles in finance and nonprofit work to advising entrepreneurs during my time at Apple. These experiences shape the values of Fabric & Soul: thoughtful innovation, integrity in craftsmanship, and an unwavering standard of excellence.

Sharing the Craft

Throughout my life, I’ve shared my passion by teaching sewing, mentoring new makers, and creating custom garments for families who value meaningful, well-made clothing. These connections continue to inspire the heart of my work.

Returning to the studio in retirement is a return to what has always grounded me — creating pieces that carry warmth, beauty, and intention. Sewing has long been a place of resilience and creative expression, and Fabric & Soul reflects that purpose.
