This one-of-a-kind women's jacket is handcrafted using a 1949 American women's jacket pattern, a design that has endured for decades because of its simplicity, strength, and ease. Emerging in the post–World War II years, the style reflects a moment when women's clothing was practical, unfussy, and quietly confident.

The clean lines and relaxed structure echo the imagery of wartime and post-war working women—capable, composed, and dressed for real life. That spirit carries through this jacket's straightforward construction and balanced proportions.

The jacket is constructed from 100% virgin wool, offering natural warmth, softness, and durability. The fabric has a substantial 13–14 oz. per yard weight and was woven in the USA, providing structure without stiffness.

The body is lined with Liberty of London Tana Lawn cotton in the Tawna print, a finely woven fabric known for its smooth hand, breathability, and comfort. The contrast between the structured wool exterior and the refined cotton lining adds both beauty and wearability.

The jacket closes with vintage shiny blue buttons at the front, paired with matching vintage shiny buttons in a greenish tone at the sleeve cuffs, all in the same style and finish.
